That's diamond plate is alumnium but still looks stupid. Would have looked better if it was just plain smooth aluminum.

Diamond metal door panels....please....

That did take it on a different tangent for sure. I was admiring the work. Looks good. Another angle... yeah, nice. Then the door panel BAM! I don't get it... The supercar look just doesn't go with the uber-redneck diamond plate that makes me think think the door panels weigh more than the front clip (not really, but you know...)

I agree about the interior - looks like leftover parts from RoboCop. Exterior, even with mix of styles is beautiful but the interior is a total mismatch. Besides, I'd never get my fat ass in the seat!

All steel. The headlights and tailights give it away!

It is being built by a shop here in SoCal that specializes in early Mercedes restoration. One of the guy's who works there is a 914 fan.

If he's a 914 fan why did he build a lamboarri?

Nice design, super nice metal work. The amount of effort that went into that car, I'm not picking any nits.

I was able to look at this car about a year ago. The guy that built it fixed my front end body damage. And, no, he didn't use any bondo! Beautiful metal work. The guy is a master at his art.

Hot and sexy lines. Its funny how some designs are just freely accepted and dazzels everyone right off the bat. I was wondering how much this thing weighs all steel of A36 probably? If it were made of composites, which would be a shoe in if someone got it for plugs for moulds, this neo914 could be a FG or CF winner!!!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) Club car design anyone?
