Everytime I turn off my headlights, my left one winks several times or sometimes forever until I kill the power to it! Most of the time it doesn't stop in the correct location either....usually about 3/4 inch too high. What gives ?? Mahalo, Kelly |

On the headlight, under the plastic cover there is a relay. That might be bad. |

Trigger is within the gearbox. You can open it and check for damage. Might need
some cleanning, most likely worn. Dimitri |

Quick check for the relay... is swap the relays side to side..... if the right side does it.. new relay time.
If not... its not the relays. Andrew |

Mine did the same thing and I found it to be due to a bad headlight switch...
I removed my relays to keep them from winking. It is always a good idea to keep a couple of those round relays around a spares since they work on several circuits on the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |

This should help you to understand how they work, and why they would keep running.
