Good day Eric, I have a question. I have just sent pay pal for the straps, etc. My question is. I realize that you have been holding on to the Canadian order to ship everything all at once and I thank you for doing that, however I have now paid three times for shipping. Twice for two door pulls and now for the straps etc. Will you be refunding some of those shipping costs to me? Again thanks for putting this together. It’s going to be a great project.

I was going to take Ron's word doc and send it along. I had it on a different computer. I'm going to send them on and get them off to the people who ordered via e-mail. Mike... No worries. im just a tad confused on where the strap meets the latch, namely how it is attached (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Aaron, See the attached pic. I first removed all existing latch hardware. Then drilled an access hole for the Phillips screwdriver near the latch pull.I drilled mine about 1/2" dia.then had to file some more cause I was off a little bit. Then lower the edge of the hole the strap goes thru by a good 1/4" or more cause if not it'll rub if you don't. Screw the grommetted end to the door frame with the 10-24 screws and fender washer.Thread the other end thru the access hole up to the latch and put a mark on the strap as to where to place the second attaching hole.I made a hole in the leather with a scratch awl,(ice pick). That'll keep the hole tight enough to hold the 4-40 screw w/o falling off when you thread that end thru to the mech.pull lever on the door frame.
