Some fellow aircoolers of mine are starting a GermanRetro-Club. they recently invited me to become a member. Basically it's a garage and land facility that is put together to allow people to have access to garage facilities that they might not have at home like a lift, tools, storage, and paint booth.

The club is in it's begining stages right now and the member and membership rules are not set in stone yet but for anyone that lives in Central Texas this might be something worth looking into.

I got this off their website.

GermanRetro-Club is:
A place to work on fine German auto's with like minded members
A place to share experience and club assets such as the lift, air compressor, impact tools, paint facilities
A club with members, and the members vote on officers to run the business, pay bills.
Members pay dues to cover only expenses

GermanRetro-Club is not:
Used for profit repair or body shop business
To be used for commercial purposes
