So I'm thinking about riding amtrak up to ventura tomorrow morning to see what all this GAF fuss is about. I was looking through the discounts area, ie, military, aaa, etc. and they have this following discount...
NARP Discount: Sure, it's something about nat. assoc. of rail passengers or something... but I thought it was cool anyway. |

ok, scratch that. sounded like fun at first. From Santa Ana to Ventura is 3 hours, ventura to santa ana is almost 4 hours. Only $39 round trip... but DAYUMN that's a long slow ride. Guess I'll be driving.. lol.
