I have no doubt Martin would win with the new blue six in Comp Special Interest if he had autocrossed or DE in it this year. He loses 10 points for not having done that.

You are right Rob, I don't have a SNOWBALLS CHANCE IN HELL !!

Martin, Very cool. I love the new GT look front end. Especially the graphic on the front bumper that says "TREKKOR! MOVE OVER - FASTER CAR PASSING" printed backwards so it can be seen in a rear view mirror... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I got quite sun baked. Lots of cool cars. The 356 coupe that won Peoples Choice was actually a gift from the guys uncle. But before you start thinking the guy was a lucky bastard I should tell you his dad got a 550 Speedster! Dude! Nice uncle!

Coolest cars I saw were an 89 Club Sport (owned by a 914Club guy), a late RS America, and a real M471 914-6. The latter was Black and we saw it at CRAB. It is in need of a restoration but it is driveable.

Sorry I missed the BBQ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) , but we were helping our oldest move out on his own this weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I was only able to slip away during the morning. There were some beautiful cars there this morning.

A monthly type of get together sounds good. Has anyone considered meeting for breakfast/coffee on say the second sat. of each month? I am suggesting this because my wife meets with a bunch of her friends on that schedule, and I have time to spare then.

Bill, Although the second Saturday would be closest to the 14th which would be appropriate, the consensus was that breakfast was not something we wanted to do. Too many of us, I guess, are not morning people.

SacValley 914 Saturday - 914 lunch and Bullshit Session To be held the second Saturday in November at 1PM. Inagural SacValley 914 Saturday to be held at Applebees on Sunrise Blvd in Gold River / Rancho Cordova

Father Martin Q. Baker will give the benediction and sermon. Fire and brimstone for all...

How about it?

This sounds like a wonderful idea. I look forward to more BS than my hip waders can handle. The fire and brimstone sounds like a blast!

Wait till you hear Sister Alison and the choir! I don't understand a word they sing but it is a beautiful sound none the less. I hear they have a wonderful rendition of the old hymn "Get those mud flaps off Rob!" I have heard the choir practicing this one a lot lately... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It was a great day... Thanks especially to Martin and Alison for cutting their own fun at the car show and swap meet short so they could go back and prepare to host us all for the BBQ... Thanks as always to Stern and Katiya for providing my dog Chloe with something interesting to sniff when I get home.

Just kidding Trekkor... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) There are no graphics on the car. It is way way fast though and has quite a history of track events.

That's my new GT lid from Sergio. However, it does look quite questionable, no man should smile like that opening a package with an engine lid inside...it was like Christmas!
