I'm thinking Germany. I've seen a set just like that and it said "Made in Germany" right on them.

My guess: VW tool kit. Came in a round case whose cover is completely occupied by the VW logo. Sized to fit inside the spare tire of your Bug.
Porsche, early on, may have had similar ones in the 356. --DD |

My guess.....As said before, it is part of a tool kit with stamped out open end wrenches .... which car? Who gives a rats ass.
As I am old, I will say that thin wrenches like that were called "Tappet Wrenches" and used to adjust tappets / valves for limited clearance. Other than the above, they're just someones bad dream, but probably worth more than a pristine 914/6 to someone. |

Not too sure what car those came from, but they are definetly not from a Hazet tool kit. Those tool kits usually had 3-5 wrenches and an assortment of screwdrivers and a couple other cool things. Would be kind of interesting to find out what vehicle they are from though.
Edit: Looks like the stamping reads STANDARD. Did a quick google on that name, and it looks like there is a tool company in Germany with that name. |
