914 quiz! win some good german beer!
with the first big winterstorm moving in, i though now would be a good time to fix one of my 13 large windows that had been missing the hardware to shut it correctly ever since i moved into this place. it was missing a lever (which i had a spare of) and a "hook" to hold the lever in place. i was going through my 914 parts stash looking for something i could use to fix the window, and voila, i found the perfect pieces! the first who can name the two 914 parts used in the pics below will get some good german beer at the next event! here's the window, now closing nicely! and here's a closeup of the parts used ... there's even a 914 related twist to this whole thing that i will reveal once we have a winner for the quiz ...
