harlot is in need of fresh oil.....
but how does one drain the oil i have a coupled hose running from the tank....seperated but only on quart...er litre came out...what other stuff do i need to do.... if you poke fun.......i' ll getcha |

You must also remove the sump plate, located in the center bottom of the engine. There are eight(8) nuts(usually). Loossen them, two at a time, starting to one side. Work your way around to the opposite side, leaving the plate slightly hanging down. Let her drain. When the bulk of the oil has drained, remove the plate and clean the plate and screen.

Unless your tank is tapped for a drain plug, disconnect the oil line and drain from there....then the engine sump.....

my thougths .....how about the oil in the oil cooler, does the thermostat let the oil drain out of the sys?
