If I use a metric/AN adapter like this on my tank
(IMG:http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Images/L/3265-38.JPG) ...Will a hose end, say like this connect straight to it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Images/L/3274.JPG) |

yes, assuming it's a metric to AN adapter and not a 45* taper flare...
The part you want is already made. |

Yup.....or you can get old Porsche fittings and take them to a hydraulic line repair shop and have new hoses installed with your old fittings....you just have to have the right measurements for the hose lengths....
I just redid two 911 hoses....two new hoses, four crimps....100USD....a LOT cheaper than the 400+ that the local parts houses wanted for the lines. |

It's 37* not 45*. JIC or AN.

Great, thanks for the reply -I couldn't find an internal diagram of the hose end anywhere to see if it had a machined 37* internal to fit the adapter.
Of course the tank fitting needs a female metric fitting -the one shown is the scavenge case adapter M22 to -12 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
