This batch had an OG of 1.060. If it ferments down to 1.016 (the last batch I made with these ingredients and a similar yeast) it should end up right around 6.0 percent ABV. I was thinking of boosting the OG with 2 pounds of corn sugar (since it's a hoppy beer it would probably mask the sugar flavor) but I decided instead to stick with a known good recipe rather than experimenting. |
