Michael - you are my new hero.
For those that weren't there, Michael and his wife each had their own 914's (Michael in a white six and his wife in a Bumblebee), and each with a child passenger in a carseat (cute kids!!). They all drove the whole 4+ hour twisty road tour. What a bunch of troopers! As I said, I'm sending my wife and kids to your house for training. |

A couple of panoramic "stitch" shots I put together, since I just put them together instead of working... Bigger versions are over at FastLeft, and I'll upload the rest there eventually.

... and while lining the cars up for the official Ramble photo. If you look closely there's one of those great "stitch shot" artifacts where the same person appears twice in the assembled photo. Can you name that roaming photographer in the black t-shirt?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Sunday's ride was one of the funest things I have ever done with my 914. Randy I would love to do another "ride" maybe we could get some of us folks in the area. I promise I won't push this time! I wish I could have been around for the last photos. Thanks Mcmark for putting this event together.

The Sunday road tour was Fantastic! Great roads and scenery. Traffic was almost non-existant (except for us). The pace at the front was frantic. Speed freaks only needed to run near the front to get their fix. I think the mood after the tour was similar to after Thanksgiving dinner, when everyone pushes back from the table a little tired, but fully satisfied. Demick! You're a fucking poet...well said lad. And from Lyn and I a big thank you to everyone who helped to put this thing on...especially the sponsors.....and Randy, thanks for the road tour only one section that I hadn't been on before but never with the same "escort".... |

I'd also like to thank Ken and his wife for help with the logo, Sylvie for hauling the keg around when she wasn't feeling well and I'm sure there we many others that need recognition. I hope I helped enough too! |

I just felt the need to keep things at a responsible speed until we hit Skaggs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Let's do the drive soon, |

Randy/Rob THANK YOU for all your help. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Randy was my go to guy for a lot of things, and Rob Sime (ConeDodger) made sure I was still breathing on a regular basis.

Just got home about an hour ago. I'm pretty sure I was the last 914 to leave the hotel this morning (noon). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Although I'm probably not the last one getting home. I'm enjoying the FREE bottle of Zin from the WCR. Most of my pics look like the one's already posted. Big thanks to McMark and all the sponsors, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
In addition to losing Allan from the hotel we only lost our child (the two year old) once. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Another 'big thanks' to Scott Detros' lovely wife and daughter for finding him walking into their room to say "HI". I'm a good parent!
