I would guess these might be considered odd-ball and definitely rare.

I love the 60s NASCARs as they were really pretty much a showroom car with some nuts-arse engine in the bay may or may not have been in the actual car from the factory.

1966/1967 Chevelles are just too damn cool
Attached Image

would really like to have a 1969 Talladega Boss 429 regardless of valve spring issues (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That car to me symbolized all that used to be right with NASCAR and was pretty much at the end of the aero wars in NASCAR. It's funny becuz when I was 15 my uncle gave me 2 68 Galaxies and a 64 Galaxie (all rust buckets as I was never lucky, just born white trash hahahaha) and I HATED the fastback look of the 68. Now I wish I had the one with the 390 again just for the sake of burning tires off it.

Not so rare, maybe a bit oddball?

1966/1967 had the coolest midsizes between the Nova SS/Fairlane 500 GTs.

Lastly, 1964. I don't know what it was about that year, but the Galaxie 500 and the Impala were at their peaks IMO.

edit - OK the car gods have spoken, a few hours after posting this I was watching TV and "dream car garage" had the car I was going to put as my #1 choice but didn't because not oddball - Bud Moore 70 Boss 302 T/A. It is hard to pick just one car, but I have wanted one of those forever. So figure it a sign to mention it. Holy crap, I am typing and "My Classic Car" is covering a 1964 Impala SS.

ooooohhhhweeeeeoooooooohhhhh. Time for bed before they start showing a classic NASCAR excerpt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Unimog is a vehicle from Germany

Pinzgauer is a vehicle from AUSTRIA
you can see the Austrian banner on the side
and it has an Austrian license plate

This has become a random cool car picture thread. Which is good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Ever since i saw one of these at Road America in the late 70's, i have always wanted a .......

Citroen SM

Most of the cars posted here have been more along the line of dream cars, and we all have those. this is what i would be a little ashamed to tell some people about, but quirky, ugly and cool!

I saw one at Carlisle this year with the hood up. That Maserati engine sat far back, with the tranny up front. It was basically a mid-engined car that had the engine in front of the driver rather than behind him/her. And the accessories were bolted to the body rather than the engine. Talk about some oddball French engineering... but definitely a cool ride. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

heres a few
ford escort cosworth
audi GT coupe

Pantera GT5

I'd like everything but the Pantera, they never did much for me. The other cars are sweet. I'd need to add an olds rocket 88 to the list though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
