sound testing went well,ok the good the bad the ugly.the volume was off for the 8 inch, but can be easily fixed.i fitted the box with a dual wond 6.5 and WOW, this is the best sounding box i have made for the 6.5 i couldnt believe how good it sounded.Did a volume check and found out i need to add some space to it for the 8,but luckly the volume for a 8" is about close to the volume for a 10" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) .but i will build two models one thats for the larger speakers & one thats for the 6.5.with the smaller of the two being more "stocksized".the prototype will go on e bay in a day or two. i will build two or three more of this type then change over to the model that dosent have the "ear"off to the side.and also start building the big box style, will post pictures of them when the molds are finished this upcoming week
Whats next?you ask, custom door panels, front rear bumpers,LE spoiler(that fits & looks right)bumpertops, carbonfiber, six aircleaners(rain hats),and injected plastics (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) .we have alot more products to offer here at appearance & performance. my 73 was almost totally lost to rust this year,i have owned this car for almost 20 years.i have a 71 im replacing it with(this is whats taking up my time) james Attached image(s) |
