This is a very nice reproduction of the factory LE airdam. Unlike others that are being sold, this one has the same dimentions as the factory airdam, and all mounting points line up correctly. The one pictured was constructed with black gel coat and polished and ready to mount. There is a second model avail, that is white primered gel coat so you can paint this item.

QUOTE =morphenspectra,Sep 27 2005, 10:18 PM] sound testing went well,ok the good the bad the ugly.the volume was off for the 8 inch, but can be easily fixed.i fitted the box with a dual wond 6.5 and WOW, this is the best sounding box i have made for the 6.5 i couldnt believe how good it sounded.Did a volume check and found out i need to add some space to it for the 8,but luckly the volume for a 8" is about close to the volume for a 10" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .but i will build two models one thats for the larger speakers & one thats for the 6.5.with the smaller of the two being more "stocksized".the prototype will go on e bay in a day or two. i will build two or three more of this type then change over to the model that dosent have the "ear"off to the side.and also start building the big box style, will post pictures of them when the molds are finished this upcoming week Hi Folks, Any more news on this one? I read somewhere you guys were going to make bumper tops to replace the (often cracked) rubber pieces from the factory. Is this still a possibility?

Are you guys going to be doing entire bumpers in addition to just the tops? If so, will you be doing anything other than the early style ('70-'72, I think), and when do you think they might be available for sale?

Ok i guess i have alot of questions to awnser. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) You would think i would learn that when winter hits.Alot of peoples cars go in the garage and they start messin with it,and ordering parts(same thing happened last two nov.&dec)So thank you to all of you that made nov & feb a record sales ending to our year here.I would like to apologize to those of you who got your order late, and might be still waiting.
Now on to the new.We wont be releasing any new products till we hire & train a person(or persons) to do some of my regular production work.I am just spread to thin to make parts & produce new designs. and again thank you to all of you who bought our products over the last few years. You have made our company what it is today,And i am proud that so many 914 owners have made the choice to put my parts in there cars Thank you james appearance & performance ps:all of our orders will be shipped by Jan 11 and again thank you |

Just wanted to let everybody know I ordered a center console from James and could not be happier with it!
James I was wondering if your deluxe carpet kit comes in tan? On your website it say black, charcoal, and brown. Plus do you have any pics of tan if you have it? Thanks, Bert |
