Did I buy that 1.7 engine and tailshifter from you? Are you "Barber Dave" on Pelican? He is the only 914 dood I know from Ohio. I was supposed to go to his(your?) swap meet, but I flaked. My ride wasn't finished and I was broke (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

nope, not me. Hmm... I met someone from Indy, actually the guy lives a couple miles from me, at Barber Dave's meet last year. I can't remember his name, but I believe his car was in the same state as yours.

That should be a blast with the new motor in it!

Here's my cone killer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif) complete with 20 foot paintjob and bodywork (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Got it as a 1973 4-banger with SC flares & front suspension. Now a /6 2.2S with some MFI bugs to shake out.

Still improving as I can afford it.
