Wow, nice job digging up all those old pictures. I've seen a couple pictures, the ones on the Kinesis website and I have a copy of the magazine article at home. We've made some changes to the car since we bought it though. It wasn't properly taken care of for a while and the wheels now have permanent stains on them, but we might get them re-anodized sometime soon. The old Supertrapp exhaust was replaced with a much much better custom exhaust. Again, if someone can tell me how to post a video, I will. I have a great video of it starting up. I also have tons of in-car video from Gingerman and other tracks. I have much better pics too, but they are too big, and I couldn't post them.

Hey Ben,

I may have a build sheet on that Engine somewhere around here. AJ built it in San Diego (I believe). The owner at that time (up in Canada somewhere) was trying to sell it to me.

When I was a Chicagoian Brian and George did all the work on my car. Good guys. I got my factory Recaro RS seats from them... and the radio that's currently in my 914-6.

Cool ride.

Yes, that is guy we bought it from. I think he is from Ontario, not exactly sure. But, Brian and George are awesome. They've helped alot. We also belong to the Autobahn Country Club that is opening in Joliet. Brian and George bought a large section to build a garage on. It should be loads of fun. If you can dig up those engine sheets that would be great. I'd like to know what's inside. Thanks.

Ben,

Looked for the build sheets but they were on another computer that I turned back in to the office. Gone for good I believe.

The guy in Canada should have PDF's or you can contact Alan Johnson Porsche in San Deigo. I'm sure they would have details and/or remember the $19k rebuild! Everything on that motor was new. The Webers came out of a box. They had pictures of the build in process...

Good Luck.

It's a country club, except instead of golfing, you race. Link: http://www.autobahncountryclub.net/ This should give all the details. It looks fantastic. Take a looksy at the site, it should answer all your questions. The paint on the car used to be better. We've gotten it repainted already. Some of previous owners did not care for it as well as they should of. Sad really. But, it looks great after a wax. Oh yes, btw, I'm looking for another set of the mirrors that are on the car. They are the same ones that are in the pictures. The driver's side one fell off and I cant find new ones. So, if anyone has any lying around or something similar I would be very interested. Thanks

Here's my baby. Brought brandy-new in 1971. Recently added 3.2l, 996 TT brakes, 9"&10"x18" wheels, full rollcage, Boxster S transmission. Baby goes like snot, stops on a dime, corners on rails and shifts smooth as butter. Did I miss any cliches?
