Finally, here it is--it's a '72 1.7l. It's bone stock with the exception of dual Webers. I'm the second owner. My father-in-law is the original owner. The "Porsche" decal and green pinstriping was added at the dealer in LA. The picture doesn't show the brightness of the color well, but it's screamin' yellow-the original color.
Scott ps, hope the pic comes thru Happy Veterans Day, and belated Marine Corps birthday! Semper Fi! Attached image(s) |

I'm another newbie....to the site and to Porsche-dom! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif) I just bought this '74 1.8L from my brother. He did most of the restoration. It's mostly stock and is currently at the body shop getting ready to take on paint. 'seems the original owner (not my brother) left it sit under a tree for better than a year. They're called "weeping willows" for a reason! I'll post more pics when I get 'er home.

MMMmmmm..... Sprintstars.... I'm thinking that I need to put a set of those on my 914 when it's on the road. I'm really starting to like the look of them on a 914. |
