Hey guys,

It's been a while... too many other things going on.

Just got the interior back together (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Somewhat unique without being extreme.

I especially like having the radio closer to the driver.

I think I will eventually fill the old radio spot with gauges.

Lots and lots of work left! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Garold, I am supremely jealous. Nice find.

Hey Brave Helios, read Melissa Scott much? Excellent author.

What do you have for dash face material? Where did you get it?

Here is my 914, its a 72 four banger. Converted to twin Dellorto carbs, bored to 2.2Litres, fully rebuilt and modified engine. Front brakes and suspension are from a 1971 911 T, the interior was restored but vandalized and the stereo sytem stolen. It was in storage for 9 years or so and I just shipped the car to myself from Canada to Japan and am planning on fixing it up again with a new interior, new suspension, install the rear 914-6 brakes and wheels and many more things. Heres a picture, looks bad compared to most of the nice rides here. It should look much better in a couple of years hopefully

Read Melissa Scott... not so much; but I do remember watching Deep Space Nine once or twice.

The face material I made from an aluminum sheet, along with alot of help from the local HVAC shop!

My intention is to put a SBC in the car someday. I've got most of a Renegade kit to install the engine; I am missing the radiator setup.

BTW, I have a stock 1.7 FI engine for sale. Don't know what it's worth. Any idea?

I just picked up a set of 17x7.5 and 17x9 - looks like they'll fit.

My 'new' car - this is the 'before' pic as of tonight - blurry cameraphone pic helps smooth over the rough edges...

Another Q about this car... I am not sure I like the tiny wing on my trunklid and I'm thinking about removing it. Part of the reason is that it deforms the trunklid where it mounts - the lid isn't strong enough to hold it.

I kindof like the bobtail spoiler on this blue car - does anyone know who makes that spoiler?
