Hi..I just acquired this racecar, does anyone recognize this type of rear flair? Its metal and looks like the flairs on the Ginther cars to me. The rear flair is very soft and natural and I like it better than the GT style but that is just my humble opinion. I do not know if this car was ever a street car. Check the VIN database. Click here for more info. Add your VIN and any pertinent info.It was built in 1969. Please chime in if anyone recognizes the car or knows anything about its history. The engine is amazing and built with 906 parts. Been in California its life, I think. Should be fast and fun...Thanks Rick |

It's getting there... My '75 914 1.8
Purchased in Southern Cal, changed all gaskets, door panels, stripped | de-rippled | painted (original color, believe it or not) | running when I got it, but not since I painted in the booth - oops) Still to finish, but have all the parts: New seat covers and carpet | newly rebuilt factory radio (using concealed antenna) | some wiring replacement | and... find out why its not running! It's deffinitely a labor of love. Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) ....that song basically sums it up! I kick myself time and again for not buying a 300 acre property up on the Pend Orielle River when I had the chance (and could afford it) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... It had a 1000 ft stretch of beach right on the river too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |
