Thank you!

I’m really having fun with the fresh engine. The throttle response is unreal!

Very nice LD. I saw your beautiful 914 at the Reeves cars and coffee last Saturday. I hung around your 914 with 2 other 914 lovers (towards the end of the morning) but we never saw you.

I'm the off-brand and Subaru Pre-Owned Manager for Reeves, so I was in a sales meeting. I did come back to the car a little later and met Rob Quarles who was the one who told me to sign up on here.

This is THE COLONEL, recently arrived in the UK, he'll be having a full resto using as much original car as possible. Maybe a cheaky engine tune too!
Soon as I work out how to post more photos, I will.

best wishes,

Congrats.

Looks like the 'COLONEL' is going to need some 'MAJOR' work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That looks stunning! Are they original wheels? Mine are the same on a 73 and I thought they were replacements?
That's great if they are, was going to spend a fortune on getting Fuch's but can put that money into rust repair now!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

7x15 cookies with 225x50x15 with 1" spacers work pretty well for a budget flared wheel. You can still pick up a set of 4 cookies (ATS wheels) for $400.

Luckily the car came with a few records. The rims are made by a company in Australia called Superlite. 16 x 8 in the back with 225/50r16 and 16 x 7 in the front with 215/50r16's
