Thanks! Will look nicer when I get my Mahle wheels on it and get it repainted in its original Malaga Red - which is darker, rare, and will add value to it.....wheels will happen in next few months, paint within 12 months hopefully......
GN Nice red 914, thanks for sharing |

Thanks! Maintained and preserved, not restored. Original owner (with occasionally excessive OCD).

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Such a fantastic paint color when in that condition! @scott_in_hn @rjames thanks guys!, and Scott good to hear from you! I was thinking about you when I was repairing my MPS, again! Last I heard you were moving and had put everything away for the winter, hope you get that 914 out and running again. Does your son have his 944 project going? my nephew has one now as well, I guess I have had some influence on him in that area and now that he had a chance to drive my 914 I think he may be looking for his next project!. the Copper metallic paint really pops in the light and I had some nice comments at Werks and at the C&C Saturday at Amelia, one was a builder in NJ, Gaswerks Garage, he loved the car, the paint he said was awesome and that metallics are very difficult to get even and looking that good, and that it was the best 914 there!!! that means a lot since he specializes in the restoration of Porsche, but mainly the 911's and the 356's but hes working on a 914 now I believe. Have you guys met them or been to his shop there in NJ? He had a beautiful '69 911 at the show which took a lot of attention from the judges. anyway, I keep working on stuff and improving mine here and there. I guess its true what they say, they are never really completed. Phil |

My first 914. Rust free (no really). Paint a tribute of sorts to Richie Ginter.
