This picture was taken 5 years ago. The new hobby shop is now in the back ground behind the car. BTW We still don't have any real snow yet this year. The forcast is for 45 deg. on 1/8/03.

I bought this car from Craig Laughlin in Dec. It's still in Oregon, I can't wait to go get it!
It's been too snowy here to contemplate driving it 2600 miles.

Planning on picking it up at the end of the month and going to LA for a week before the trek east.

Here is my 74, getting fitted for it's fresh 2.7. It looks rough, but it's a solid, rustfree car, no really it is!
It's got 16x6's now with a set of 951 fuchs 8's for the front and 9's for the rear when the flares are installed.
It has 944 turbo front brakes, boxster rears, koni yellows, jet-hot coated headers and a 2.7 with RS pistons,
S cams, ported heads & webers.

It's been a long project and I can't wait to finish!

Seanery, your quick six mount is made by who?
Also is your 2.7 150/160/175/210hp? How much extra hp do you expect from the S cams and RS pistons?

Hey Olav,

Yep, that's more or less the goal (someday...)
On my site you can also find pics of what it looked like when I got it

I should spend more time in my garage and less behind the 'puter
Then again, I can do this stuff between phonecalls (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Cheers,

My mechanic made the mount. He does a lot of conversions.
I'm hoping to hit 210hp. I may be insane, but that is the # I'm hoping for.

When it get's dyno'd I'll pass the info along.

Sean,

I'm not sure which direction your going to take to LA, but I would wait until the Dunkel brothers swap meet the first weekend of Feb. I know Craig is going and I'm taking at least 3-4 914 people with me for the event. If you drive through SF be sure to post it here. I'll organize a 914 dinner gathering for your visit. We normally get 20-30 people to show up for dinners and the such.

Been meaning to tell you guys. I can't make it this year. I wanted to, but we get back from Key West on Saturday, 2/1. I don't want to hop right back on a plane just for one day and then back again. Get pics for me eh?

Actually they are Texas lenses. I've heard that all the roads in TX are flat & straight and so there is no need for turn signals.
