Margaritas will be in our room all weekend.... and these aren't no wimpy ones, us Carolinas people drink'em strong, with good Tequila!

And ice cubes, IIRC, which is just all wrong...
but good tequila (anything Cuervo is right out) will cover a multitude of sins...

Only Patron or Cabo for us.... 3:1:1 tequila:Roses lime:Cointreau (or triple sec if that's all that's available)
and yes, on ice...

see ya in October.

The 914 is waiting patiently...

Tommy, that's wonderful. Your name came up in conversation at Talimena earlier this year and Clay and I were both saying we hadn't seen you in FOREVER!!!

I guess its been a couple of years since I last saw you and Clay at Talimena. Since then I've been spending most of my "car" related trips a little further east. I've done 3 trips to Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina. A trip up to Arkansas for Porsche Palooza where we saw Dennis Carter. So far this year I've done 2 "track days" and am definately headed back to Eureka Springs Arkansas for Porsche Palooza in November. With the RCR and a few more track events, this is going to be a busy fall.

I am registered and have made my hotel reservations. I'll send the registration payment in the next couple of days.

Hopefully, my wife and I can get off work to drive up from Montgomery on Thursday. If not, we will head up Friday after work.

Thank goodness the oppressive Alabama heat should be gone by October.

Looking forward to the event and seeing everyone.

Rusty,

I mailed you a check on Wednesday.

Even with the slow Alabama mail service, you should receive it by Saturday.

Thanks,

Rusty I still need to pay up. Got an address for me to send the check to? Also I have your wheels tucked away nicely in my storage building for safe keeping? Tried to sell them but 47.50 is the best offer I got so decided to keep them for you.

Donald

p.s. Is there going to be an award for ugliest 914 at the show? If not I might try to pretty mine up a little.

Ugliest 914... nope. But I am about to post the car show guidelines, including the classes! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Don't forget... register by September 15th!

We'll do a late registration for 914 friends (after the 15th) as long as there is space available, but that's cutting it pretty close to order additional shirts!

Also, after the 15th, we've agreed to open the event up to a limited number of local Porsche owners (non-914 types). It'll be good for them to come see what 914s are all about!!

Good morning, Jeff! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To keep your slot as committed, we're asking for payment on/about 15 September.

If we need to work something else out - PM me.

Clay, Memphis is only 6 hrs from Tulsa, but we could prolly do that. Would be nice to travel with others.

There is probably going to be a fellow coming out of Oklahoma City with his 914-6 on a trailer. Just talked to him today. There will be two of us departing from Memphis in our cars unless we decide to trailer the cars. Most likely we will drive our cars as I'm not having much luck coming up with a trailer. I really needed to tow as I have wheels and tires to deliver to Rusty. If you guys want to meet up and caravan just let me know.

I added Thursday night to my reservation so I can caravan with the Atlanta armada. I'll have an extra seat if anyone wants a ride.
