Hi Jeff!
Scott let me know yesterday... he talked to the business manager at the Marriott. Having us not set up for both packages was an oversight. The "with breakfast" rate is really a good deal, especially so if you have two people in your room. I've eaten there several times... excellent food and presentation. Les,
I'm thinking of heading out Thursday and arrive in Huntsville mid-late afternoon. Anyone interested in leaving Atlanta Thursday, PM me. |

Driving to Rocket City Ramble or any ramble is funtime. However beware speed traps.
This is a list of a lot of speed traps in almost every state. Some places many will drive thru when having 914 fun are speedtraps. http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp Look over your "to and from an event route" and drive for enjoyment. I have no 914 road regrets since the 1st 914 in 1970 by looking at the roads ahead. Cooley. |

Hey there, Ramblers!
The RCR website has been completely redesigned and uploaded… several new pages, including a VERY IMPORTANT page that recognizes the individuals and vendors who have started pledging support in the way of door prizes. I'll start a new thread about that soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) http://www.rocketcityramble.com/ -Rusty (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) |

I got confirmation on the dinner menu... still working on desert. While it's very doable - I've been told a chocolate fountain for dipping (strawberries, cookies, marshmallows, etc) might be a bit over the top. (Where's our wine & cheeze smiley? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) Okay... We settled on desert for the final banquet! It's going to be a choice of cheesecake or cobbler. I got to sample their cheesecake a while back...
