It looks like it was shot with a wide angle lens, which exagerates the size of what ever is closes to the camera. It might look better thru a standard len and from a different angle.

I dunno about that. The wheel flares are pretty aweful. no flowing line there at all. I have seen plenty of track cars with flares that look very nice, but this car does not have it. The tail could be okay. The wide angle is distorting that a little too much.

No... not the same. The last one is a real race wing... fully adjustable. Much more spendy than the first and way cooler.

Those are garden variety, Porsche factory RSR/Moby flares.

The first wing is factory (or styled after a factory GT2 993 3.8 Cup wing) and adjustable. Remove the end caps and adjust the center section to your liking. A clone is $1,200 or so from MA Shaw (real is probably unubtainium). The guys that have a 993 GT2 cup car would argue that it's cooler... and that it's a "real" race wing. I think the lens and the angle of the shot lend to the out of proportion ricer look. Not my cup of tea but, if you understood what the car is (RSR/pre 935 clone etc.) and you saw a standalone shot my bet is it probably wouldn't look 1/2 bad.

Not photoshop.

One day, I hope to do a 70's vintage RSR clone. I still like wide body 911's (which is why I love my 80's 930).

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) They look much better from the front. It all must be ver distorted from the lens as it doesn't look like the RSRs I have seen. It looks more ricish. However, if it is an RSR wing those are very cool on the car and the lens made a very cool car look very bad.
