Both.... but that's just me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
It would be good to just make sure you have the original engine gone through and kept safe. Then put in your fun engine. |

i like the idea of a of a 3.0 w carbs, than no messing around with fitment as the cis is a little too tall
although if we are dreaming we might as well dream for a ss3.0 with pmos but if you are building with a orig block, i might stick with it and build a 2.2s.... |

Thank you.
The engine has the machine work completed we are picking thru 12 pistons to find the best 6. Gasket and bearing kits showed up today and the fasteners are getting a bath. Biggest hassle was cleaning the red RTV out of the case. Bottom end assembly next week if all goes right. The tub is waiting in line for the bench. Parts were found locally and on the way. It's getting there. Probably a few WTB ads in the near future. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) This post has been edited by Project 6: Aug 7 2008, 09:15 AM |

Suspension console repair is finished. Spray to match engine area is today. Pics up soon. Refurbished steel wheels are ready, Tire Rack has tires on the way.
Mikez is working on the engine rebuild and is searching for cams. Interior is about done. Progress is not just a light at the end of the tunnel. The Phone Dials that were on the car and which did not fit well are going to be sold. CHEAP. Chrome bumpers have arrived from The Bumper Shop and awaiting install. Stay tuned, same Bat time, same Bat channel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

They are 15 x 5.5 wheels from a 911 which were also delivered on the lower optioned 914/6. This one also doesn't appear to have been delivered with sway bars.
Since the oem size tires aren't available we plan on a 185/65 tire. Likely the Pirelli P6. |
