Here's a few. The green car is an original six.

I think I counted 21 or 22 cars.

OK, it's not a 914, but it is a Type IV in a '71 Ghia.

O.K. So how many 914's showed up. You know if you get 14 it is as good as most regional events. I thought I counted 16 not including the one on the rotissory.
Nice event Cris and Ed.
Ed I'm hopping you show up at the WCR next May.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) it was a great day at CFR ...it was great to see old faces and new ones too. i have to say there had to be 21-22 teeners total some left and some came late...CHRIS, ED, HEIDI you pulled it off just as good as the pictures as the other coast does if not better. very informant and social. thanks for having us for the 2nd annual....next year you will have to print up 3rd yr shirts with maybe that long catchy name i heard...oh heidi more please (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) as always time flew by... oh and who was the farthest rider??? pa. ???

Thanks again to Chris and the CFR team. It was fun to finally put some names wth some faces, this was my first 914 event since moving back north. I liked walking around the CFR workshop and seeing pieces of 914's everywhere (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) very cool

QUOTE(Joe Sharp @ Aug 10 2008, 01:53 AM) *

O.K. So how many 914's showed up.

I believe the number of 914s that showed up during the day was 20. (My white car was there for the entire week, and is fully operational.) Jim D. left with his yellow car before most of the pics and two others arrived late in the day, after the group shots. I counted 15 parked on the edge of the driveway, in the pics, including Guy's blue car on the trailer, which is almost operational, and near the end of it's restoration. In the center of the driveway was Jon's Tangerine car, Eric's 3.2 track car and David's nice unrestored '74 2 liter. Already at the shop before the gathering started were Turboman808's car, Sailorman50's race car, a full restoration/six conversion project on the rotisserie and a 912E. Last but not least was our long distance winner from the Philly area, driving a beautiful red T4 Upright Conversion Karmann Ghia, Charley and his wife Barbara.
That makes the total number of 914s present - 24, plus one other T4 powered Porsche, and one T4 powered VW.
About 5 914 owners came without their teener (using a variety of excuses (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) ).
I want to thank everyone who came and made this a successful gathering! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)

Thanks to Chris, Mary, Heidi, Ed and chef Neal for making it a great get together! Barbara and I really enjoyed touring CFR's first-class shop, seeing all the sweet vehicles, and hanging with a cool crowd of air-cooled cousins. Special thanks to the crew of 'teeners that pushed our Ghia off (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (after I stupidly left the LM-1 on and drained the battery (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif))
