Just ordered one and recieved the part, the number on the
box is " 0 192 062 007 - 850 " made in spain. It's shorter
than the one that was in there which has the number
" 0 190 601 006 "

Is the new one a valid replacement/correct part?

The porsche number is 043 903 803 but has no bosch
reference number on their website.

Thanks,

Tod

It'll work fine. The old mechanical (and adjustable!) voltage regulators have been replaced by an electronic one.
