75 911S 7R case... QUOTE 4 Bearing Cam Towers Was that a difficult mod? IIRC the 4-bearing towers appeared either with or right after problems with the 2,8RSR - and since that's my target, it's what I think I've gotta do too - especially to use any of the 'modern' (e.g. GEnn) cams... |

Is this cooler a mod RX-7? If it is any more pic's? I think I have the same core for my project. Thanks (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-1623-1256874886.jpg) No Mark, that is a 914-6 GT Cooler, also used in 910's. The other cooler above it is a RX-7 Cooler, they are almost the same size. I don't have any other pictures of this Cooler handy, but here are some pictures of another GT Cooler that I sold a few years ago for $2,400. T.C. |

Not a difficult mod at all, and like you said, better to use with a more modern cams. I bought 2 sets (one set for my 2.7 & one set for my 2.8) of 4 bearing cam towers off Pelican Classifieds fairly inexpensive. T.C. |

1st of all, What is the customary period of time that someone is allowed to stare and drool at a motor before a cover should be put on said motor?

My 993 Oil Console. This fits in place of the Oil Cooler on the motor, since I will be running a front cooler. This came Directly from Germany. These used to be 1/4 the Cost (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

TC that is one fine looking motor, I would say you can stare at it for at least a week straight ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I may be wrong but doesn't the RX7 oil cooler have a thermostat built in that has to be removed ? I thought I read that somewhere ? Other than that it is a good cooler. |

Hey T.C. It is looking good! What kind of media did they blast it with and what kind of primer and paint are you planning to use? Thanks, John |

TC,
I just posted a question on another thread, then realized you may be able to answer my question. If those are AA flares, would you kindly measure the rear flare from the inside wheel well panel to the inside lip of the flare at the center. I basically need to know if my existing wheel/tire will fit. Thanks a bunch! Andys |
