Damn I gotta say I read through this whole post for the first time. Only after reading your other post about sending some pics to the previous owner. Amazing the job you have done saving this car. Who cares what the previous owner thinks of it. I know plenty of us would not have the chops to take on that resto (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) .
My only problem is after reading your other post. I thought I was going to see a completed car. Now after reading through 13 pages of posts. I'm left blue balled (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) I can't wait to see it finished. It will be absolutely beautiful. |

Compliance with the law ;-) In Germany at least but I believe through the Euro zone there must be a red mark on the speedo at 50 k/h. It's basically the 'in-city' speed limit at 31 m/h Cool, thanks Rich! I figured it was some kind of government speed "warning" thing, kinda like our old 55mph crap, but it was so slow it threw me for a loop. yes, thats what all Eurp kph speedo have. I sold one I bought back from Jeroen's stash to Pete Stevers so he could drive the right speed in Canada. |

As a street car, it was required to have the 50 km/h red zone. On a 400 km/h speedo, it was but a teeny dot... |

T.C. Do you have the GT pop up headlight kit for this car? I could use some pictures because I want to make my own. I don't want to blow $500+ for what is just a bunch of cables, springs, and brackets I could make myself. I need at least 2 sets of these things and I may look at making a run of them. I got the caswell plating kit and power supply lately so I plan to yellow zinc it all. John |

One of the last pieces of the puzzle, the parts puzzle that is - the GT Headlight raiser kit. I will be attempting to make an Instruction Manual on the Installation.
Next I have to go open up a can of Whup-Ass on the painters, I want my car back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) |

Cool - I am getting closer to tackling this project on my car as well. Hopefully you do yours first so I can follow your instructions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I've been keeping a prioritized to-do list (using Toodledo) and this has been floating around the middle of the list... |
