Already pictured earlier in an early iteration (I’ve owned it since 1980). She’s getting a new engine this weekend... Nice one Rob (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) if the new engine is a stroker...we make a Big-tube tri-y header for it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) It is a stroker. Rebello motor if you know him. I currently have the original Datsun Comp headers. In fact, I’m pretty sure I bolted that entire catalog on this thing! Attached image(s) |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/matsgarage.com-15176-1561738988.1.jpg) Also got issues, issues such as not quite finished yet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Nice! I've spent a considerable amount of time working on a fairly wild one. What engine/trans package? @Flcor75 just read the blog, I can not find any information on the Super 8 - interested in more information. There isnt much available sadly. The super eight is a one off build made by a Swedish car designer. He lives about an hour from me and I went to see him earlier this year and the car, or what remains of it. He started to rebuild it but never finished so its a dusty cut up mess at the moment. Its based on a Dax Super seven chassis with a TVR V8 and a custom made bodyshell and built back in 2006 or 2007. |

Well I'm officially on the prowl for a new daily-driver. Gotta find something under $10K that will get wife-approved for hauling the kids, and not bore me to death.

If you have the Competition header make sure to ceramic coat it, as these are old & great designs. We built ('80-90s) the Clifford Perf (6=8) units which were BRE copies and fetch high $$. Looks like Rebello is offering similar tri-y headers that we mfg . might be sourcing from our SoCal distributor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) |

My first body on rotisserie resto, 59 Ghia done in Dolphin Blue. I had to manufacture many parts as they were not to be found. Interior is exact replica of stock except for the car only came with rubber mats, not carpet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
Probably going to sell it. More time for 914s (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) |

What engine/trans package? @Flcor75 just read the blog, I can not find any information on the Super 8 - interested in more information. I built a very wild one! It took me 3 years to build and has been completed for 3 years. My Lotus 7ish car was built from scratch by me right here in SoCal.. Weighs 1350 pounds Has a 375-400 HP turbo RX7 engine (Rotary built from different generations of RX7 and RX8 stuff. Haltech Fuel Management BNR Stage 3 turbo Heavily modified Mazda transmission First gen RX7 rear axle with Moser axles We keep it at our house in Lake Arrowhead. It is in heaven up there in the twisties. Anyone interested in more details, let me know. |

I drove my '62 Rambler American convertible to the R Gruppe gathering at EASY.
As I rolled up, I asked "Is this the 'R Group'? Where are the other Ramblers?" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Attached image(s) |
