No it is gloss painted.... I know 914 Rubber is working on a new version Saratoga type top though.
A portion of my sickness... there's a 428 Cobra Jet mustang in there too.. you just cant see it on the lift... @robarabian is that a Saratoga top? Does it get very hot inside, you’re the first I’ve seen in So Cal with one. I’ve been looking everywhere trying to snag one up |

Always wanted to try a water cooled, so when my co-worker offered me his modified 996.2 I jumped on it. I get it. They may not be the height of tech and flash but the 996 is a solid bargain. Spiced up my 996.1 with a Chevy 6.2L LS3, it's my favorite daily driver 'car'. Cool ride, ls motors are awesome. I love the sound of the flat six, but if my motor ever goes out I would be interested if I can get it ca smog legal… Set up to be smog legal out east, Mass I think. Has tiny exhaust cats. |

Here is a rare bird… 1973 with 2900 documented miles and automatic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) one owner…. Just out of storage since 1981. Any chance it is for sale? Very cool!! Nope. My office is in the loft of our garage and I get to stare at it all day. Buying a special lift attachment that will take the pressure off the wheels (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Enjoy it. Here’s mine. |

This one is almost finished, just the last registration check left before I get the plates and its road legal. Curb weight is 1500 lbs and 170 hp should be enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Thank you covid for staying in the garage not making me seem anti-social. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
