I don't really want to sell her, but i'm not in a position to start restoring the car any time soon ...

So here it goes!

VIN: 914.043.0374, bare shell only, no parts, clean title, $5000

The car was wrecked by the PO in 1983 and subsequently parked, then in early 2006 stripped of all parts (not by me) and headed for the crusher.
The original color is Canary Yellow (29). The car has been repainted black (pretty badly) and the flares are fiberglass.
Both passenger side flares were destroyed in the accident.
I bought the bent shell and had it professionally straightened later that year on a Celette Bench at Yeaman Auto Body in Palo Alto using the Porsche factory fixtures.
All suspension pickup points are back to factory specs but there's still major sheet metal work to do to make her perfect again.

I have some of the sheetmetal needed to repair the car, like a complete front bulkhead, a rear shock tower and a good front and rear decklid.

Bare shell only, not a roller, no suspension.
Local pickup (The tub is in Napa, CA) would be preferred ...

Feel free to contact me with any questions,
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Andy

Per request, more pics of the areas that need attention:

Cracked passenger side rear suspension console

Attached Image

Buckled passenger side front cowl area (I've got replacement sheetmetal for that)

Attached Image

Buckled passenger side front headlight bucket area

Attached Image

Attached Image

Cracked passenger side front mount

Attached Image

Rear passenger side shock tower was pulled back to factory specs (I've got replacement sheetmetal for that if needed)

Attached Image

Passenger side long (forward portion) and lower door jamb need attention/replacement

Attached Image

There's some rust in the Hell hole area, battery tray has rotted away, but other than that, the car is pretty rust free. Floorpans are solid as is the rear trunk.

As you can see from the pics, he hit the curb pretty hard with the passenger side of the car. The right front and rear wheel were pushed under the car and caused the body to twist.

There's a lot of metal work to be done before this one will be nice again ...

1991?

1991, have it in my hand right now. The car has not been registered in a long time and none of the subsequent owners (including myself) ever bothered to send in the slip for an update.

I've got the original owners name and signature on it plus the sales price, so getting it in your name should not be a problem ...

I got the following in my email notification, which linked me back to this thread/post, but I don't see it here????? ...is it just my "half-zymers"?

I cleaned this thread up.
After all, i'm trying to sell something here. General discussions about Celette bench pulling should go in the main garage forum and not in someones advertisement.

Andy - you'll recall that I had originally queried you about selling some of the body parts listed above separately for my own 73 2L's resto, which you had declined. When you had declined, I asked for a cellete bench shop down in SoCal - since you had discussed in detail above. One must take the opportunities when you see them, but I then didn't know about the internal PM route being a newbie.

Then later someone else followed up on that along the cellette bench line. My apologies for the hijacking of your thread! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

Well, after you finish the limo, you should build a GT, maybe a tribute car...

More pics as per request ... Unfortunately, those are all i have at the moment. The car is stored in Napa and i won't be up there for a while to take more pictures.

The floor pans have some light surface rust, but no holes.
