I appologize, I just checked the event email and all mail has been read. Which means one of the planners checked the email and likely sent out payment info. I will re-send the info to you but I don't know you personally and you don't have your name in the signature space on your posts. The application you filled out on the web site will have your name not your screen name. What name should I be looking for? |

I wish I could come. For some reason a 12hr roundtrip drive and weekend off of studying before finals just doesn't seem like a good idea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'm on the list twice, so unless there are two of me I'm planning to be there only once! Maybe I'm planning on having twice the fun?

Well, this morning I decided to pull the plug on my plans to have my car at the Hershey.
The unexpected brake system failures cost me two weeks, and this a-arm mess is going to cost me another two weeks at least. Between now and Hershey I also have my son's first birthday to plan and put on, end of semester MBA projects coming due, finals to study for, a major work project due, and exterior house projects that need to start in order to keep peace at home. This decision depressed the hell out of me on my commute into work this morning, as I was really excited about showing my car; but its better then burning out and letting more important home, work, and school tasks suffer. I'm still looking forward to the event, and hope to see you all there! Zach |

I'd love to take the TIV two wheeler to Hershey but prolly won't make it 'till Hershey 2011 at my current progress rate. Besides, it's NOT the GOAL, it's the JOURNEY! That's what really COUNTS! I am not sure if my bus will make it either as it depends on your availability to weld in the battery tray, the tranz mount, and the seat mount for the driver. If you are OK with we doing the welding on the seat and the tray, I can do it while you are home and then all you need to do is the mount welding and I know how to prep it so you just come out, zap it and its done. Dont give up hope. I too have too many damn things planned. This next weekend is my last as there is a wedding and then the event. Matt, I am not sure. I know you can sign up on the day of. |

AX signup is separate. We are not collecting it. I think all that is handled on Sunday by PCA.

Zach, Do you still need a caliper? Did you get a control arm? Control arm should change in an hour or so, Caliper and bleed the brakes another hour. If you have the parts. |

Caliper is on. I was well taken care of on that front. Initial pressure bleed is done, but I need to do another round as the pedal is still mushy.
I do not have an A Arm yet, but Mike knows where I can get one. I can call Steve at Aircooled Racing and see if he has one too, but I want to check Mikes source first. It all boils down to time. An amusing aside. When I gave up on the car (for hershey) I decided that I'd just help Mike get the bus on the road. Mike called me at lunch to tell me that he had given up on the bus (for Hershey) to get my 914 on the road. Ha! Zach |
