I'm not sure why I am starting this thread without having taken pictures because I know Gint will be here in a minute to insert the THIS THREAD IS WOTHLESS WITHOUT PICTURES smiley..

Anyway, After last weeks knee surgery I have been only able to spend a few minutes at a time in the garage... So it took me about three weeks to redo my sail fin vinyl. I have a very nice rear targa pad that has two 3" to 4" flares in it... When I took off the targa pad, I knew it would be a few days at least until I got it all put back together so I wrapped the pad tightly in one layer of packing tape facing outward (to keep adhesive off the vinyl) and one layer of tape the normal way. Last night when I finally could spend 10 minutes standing to put it back on, I unwrapped it. The flaring, at least for now - is gone. Your mileage may vary but it worked for me!

Sadly Jeff, I think I have three digital cameras and an old Canon 35mm as well as two camcorders, one that it is totally digital...

Back on topic - I wonder if this will last? It flattened it out pretty nicely.

Well there you go! Now the thread has a pic and is no longer totally worthless! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

No blue tape on the targa bar. I used clear packing tape. I did of course use the blue tape for the masking on the sail panels!

I used the skins of not more than two black vinyl puppies not varying in shade and born of the same vinyl bitch. The entire lineage must be purebred vinyl with nothing but black offspring for the last six generations. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Looks like a Blue Heeler or Australian Cattle dog (same thing). Val and I have one....almost too smart for their own good.
