For sale is a "good condition" '74 914 2.0L with approximately 160k miles. Original fuel injection. Originally a "sport" model (included gauges and foglights), but the fogs have been taken out. The car used to be an autocross car, but I have been using it as my daily driver for 3.5 years now. Nearly everything works fine, just needs some TLC. Must go!
The Good: -Paint job in '06 -Engine rebuilt in '01 -Koni reds front and back -Rebuilt in calipers in '07 -Fiberglass lids (front and back), bumpers (front and back), and roof -Front spoiler (also fiberglass) -Autopower rollbar -Weltmeister front sway bar (not installed, but included) -Stock rear swar bar -Front oil cooler -Weltmeister oil trap -Short shift kit -140 lb springs -Momo steering wheel -5 Point harnesses The Bad: -Window cranks are missing knobs -On cold start, engine idle is rough, but after about 2 minutes it runs smoothly -Crack in the windshield on the driver's side -Some rust in rear trunk and in the "hellhole" area The Ugly: -Front spoiler doesn't fit perfectly with the lower half of the spoiler--it sticks out a bit on the sides -Dash is cracked in places -Rear (fiberglass) trunk is missing the latch -Passenger side "eyelid" (by the light) is missing. Car must go! I have a new car now (Mini S) and need space in the driveway. Car is located in Southern California. I have all the records and documents if necessary. Oh, and yes, it is street legal. $4250 OBO. Can you put up pic 's of engine compartment , hell hole , rocker panel area .
and is central roll bar , welded or bolted in ? |
