This has to be about the bestest, most funnest website on the planet, but I have one simple request.
Will the software allow the most recent post to display at the top of the first page of a thread, rather than at the end of a thread? Its a real pain to have to scroll down to each new post everytime. There I said it...I am a happy guy otherwise... Do you have any peeves about the website? Don't you guys use the little red down arrow that takes you to the first post you haven't read? Either that or you can click on "Last Post By" and it will take you right to the last post.

Probably not very easily Jeff. But Jon hit it. I use the "Last post by" link, but the red box will take you all the way to the last post also. Will that satisfy the requirement? |

I should play around and explore these features and enjoy life more. I'll leave this thread up for a little bit then delete it. I don't feel so bad now. It tooks me six months to find the little down arrow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

What a spiffy button that is! I never really noticed it before. I think the admins secretly added it after bowlsby started this thread.
We get so comfortable with what works. I'll readily admit I'm a creature of habit. Never even thought to click any other buttons. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Jen |

Maybe some instructions on how to use the search feature so we don't see the same questions everyday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Oh wait, I asked that dumb question. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Its a real pain to have to scroll down to each new post everytime. I would have to disagree with this, as someone who visits the site only a few times a week at most. It's a lot easier to catch up when the threads posts are in chronological order. And as other have said, there's ways already built in to get to the last post you read on a thread, which I also use from time to time. Please don't change a thing... John |

I need to add my $.02 on this. I don't work on this board every day, but when I do, it usually takes a good deal of time and effort. If you guys want existing features documented, then by all means, feel free to do so. It doesn't require a board admin to add a thread about how to use a feature of the board. We could then create a "Helpful Hints" forum with those threads in it. Help us out. This board is here as a resource to everyone, and nobody is getting paid to keep it running and add features or fix issues.

Holy crap...that's pretty cool. I thought that was just an indicator icon to let one know that the thread has already been viewed and no new entries have been made (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
