We're starting at 09:00.

Keep trying, you'll get it. You see the post pic area don't you? Browse for the pic in the file attachments section and post. Make sure your image isn't too large. 300k or something like that is the limit.

Cool. Looks decent.

Also.. dont "preview" your post when you try and add a pic.. it removes it from the post.

Hey Gint..

I really think we should create a "Events area" and break it down into sub categories for each area. I HATE when I dont know that an 914 event/gathering is going to happen.

I know the Colorado guy's use yahoo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) ... but I dont read it and I *might* show up one day for a gathering IF I knew when they where happening.

We should have posted a seperate thread. But being on call this week, I haven't had time to scratch my ass. We should have quite a few local guys pop in and out during the day. We're installing a motor (2.0 from the brown car - LOL) into Brant's 914 that I hauled back from NorCal. I've devised a way to install a 914 motor on my lift. The motor and tin won't fit between the rails of the 4 post lift. I wanted to try it on a 4 cylinder before wrestling with my /6 again.

Most of the locals are on the yahoo list. Dieter's new though. I grab every new club member and try to get them on local. There are a bunch on the yahoo list that I can't get to come over here. Some folks don't want to go web.

yeah i checked for rust there, there is a little rust by the pan right in front of the rear wheel. i took the battery out and there is rust there but surface rust nothing else, not real bad. the trunk has some rust on a panel in the back that went through, but it looks like i can just weld a new piece in.

right now i need to get the car running right. i might not be able to make it down to town before work today unless these people that come to look at the house show up. I have to get my dog out of the house, she is mean when i am not around, but i'll try and make it.

peace.

We missed ya...

Today would have been a great day for a new 914 owner. I consider it highly successful. A good learning experience for dropping (installing really) a motor. But I think we'll be doing some more "work get-togethers" in the near term.

Kevin's talking about cutting up a tub... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif)
