What is the difference between 031 and 031A green injectors? Can you use both kinds on the same engine?

I really can't help you with the particular specs on the injectors. There is a big price difference between the two, so I'm sure that it is something significant. What I do know is:

039 906 031 - 1973 and 1974 2.0L engines

039 906 031a - 1975 and 1976 2.0L engines

I think the "A" suffix parts are used on 75-76, not 74-75 2.0 cars.

As far as I can tell, there is no difference in electrical resistance or flow rate between the two. Which I am pretty sure means that I simply haven't looked at the right things.

I wouldn't feel bad about using the "wrong" ones, but I would not want to mix and match on the same engine.
