I am so jealous. Me and McMark actually discussed flying in - renting a car but there are no major airports close to Grand Junction. We would have had to drive 300 - 500 miles. It would have been doable from Salt Flake City to Moab...

Have fun... If anyone does cartwheels through the sprinklers be sure to take pictures... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Whatchu talking about? Fruita is only 40 more miles than Moab from SLC on 75 mph hwy which equals 32 more minutes on the road. That's assuming you'd drive 75 mph on the road between I-70 and Moab. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Look into flying in to Grand Junction itself.

Ok. Now I am going to have to admit that the last time I drove through Grand Junction was more than a decade ago and I did not have the impression it had an airport that an airliner would land at. Now that I check, yes - we could have landed at Grand Junction. Now though, it would be a $2000+ round trip. Doubt Mcmark wants to pony up for that. Me either though... Sorry... Fly into SLC and you can ride in the assdragger. Jeff, Suzie and I will be caravaning Friday AM.

Bring condoms and lube. Slits isn't coming so I won't have a date. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sheeplove.gif)

Fruita is the same as Moab from SLC time-wise. You stay on I-70 at 80mph vs. UT-191 at 50 behind an RV towing more RV's.

Next excuse please Dr. Slime! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Ok, So were 250 miles closer to the RRC. My last trip earlier this year to the WCC I was getting about 12-14 MPG. I did some work to my F.I. since then. My first gas stop yielded 21 MPG. If that trend continues I'll be pleasantly surprised.
