Or ya'll could get USD money orders for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Man, Canadians are hard to deal with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

You asked, I answered.

BTW, can you please confirm the border crossing that you are using so we can make sure the guy with the big hands does the cavity search. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif)

Cleaning the shop and setting up benches, I have lots. I`ll leave a space for the tranny R&R on wobbletops teen.
I`m helping MikeG pull the trans out of the 911 tomorrow at 7:30am.
Digging out my cores.

Calling for fall weather, 15*C, light rain. Heated shop if it gets cold.
We've had frost already, leaves have started to turn.

Mark, I was just giving you a hard time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) We have a small enough class to do many boxes and I have no return flight to make. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Why is everyone one always picking on me?....
No summertime blues here, it fall for sure and you'll be glad I have good heat.

Off to mikes914 to pull the 911 tranny soon. I have a few errands to run, but back by noon for sure.

See ya tonight Mike!

You should use that Google Latitude so we can track your progress (or time how long the body cavity search takes at the border).

Yep the border guard's name is Ben Dover?
(Say it fast)

The Doc has my phone number if I have to bail him out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

911 tranny out, I have bit of cleaning and benches to set up. Then I have to tear into 5 transmissions, one core still in my car, only 4 bolts. Just a dummy set-up so no tin, exhaust, wires etc......

Did I need to get the car on jackstands to pull the trans or can it be on ramps? IE... do I need to be able to turn the wheels to get the CV joints off?

Just wondering what to pack in the car for tools.

You need brake cleaner!
BTW If you are getting some (anyone...anyone???) get me a couple cans I'll pay you!

I have jack stands and most tools, my jack will work but it slowly losses pressure and my air ratchet has died.
You need your basic tool kit for working on your transmission.

I should have most anything else you need, the Doctor has the tranny tools.

That should cover us for a BBQ, but I am still bringing my portable one.

The doctor is in the house!

Davep is here as well. He brought apple pie.

The small BBQ is fine, we have a big pot of chilli and bread, just need salads, maybe some burgers, snacks. There`s only 7-8 of us.

Thanks for everyone's help this weekend! The 914 made it home without issue Sunday night. Thanks to Mark for hosting (great job!), Mike for instructing (great patience), and everyone else for helping (when I was down for the count).

At least you got to meet my wife (who actually bought the car) and is much better company than I am anyway.

Is this the bushing I need for the firewall?

The doc and I got crowned and CC'ed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
Thanks to everyone and a big thanks to the evil one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Wobbletops wife was showing everyone the order on how to do their stacks, she was was amazing and gets the honorary gearhead award! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) (pun intended)

One of my two stacks, this one damn close to perfect new and the other a close 2nd with slight wear on the sliders and the less important (4/5) dog teeth.
I have a heir and a spare (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
