Everybody appears to be back home in one piece. That was one of the smoothest events ever. Great roads, great weather and lots of 914 seat-time with the right folks... always a good situation.

Darned crimson shaft weighs more than Clay does! I thought I'd use it as a dashboard ornament. It's a good color, but it's a bit ostentatious. Might be better on the mantle. But I'd best get the parts out of the freezer first... don't wanna to push my luck.

Glad to hear you (and the shaft) made it home OK.... and just remeber, you only have to keep the shaft until next year.

Oh... and do you know where your steering wheel is????? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Hey, don't start with me... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) and yes I do. I'm lookin at it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I found it!!! It is right where it was all through lunch on Sunday!!!!!

For those of you who were not there, it became a contest over the weekend to see who could swipe Ron's steering wheel. Sunday at lunch we hid it in plain site while we ate......

Yeah. At least nobody bought it along with a jar of jelly and a bag of corn meal! I can imagine it up on a big John Deere. You know. The ones that cost more than our sports cars?
