Hi Pete,
So it's a copy or as close to as possible of the nos part. That's what I was asking about. Sorry if I threw you off on the 90 degree thing. Looks like I need to add this to my list now. Thanks, The edge in question has the same radius as the NOS piece I copied. It should not be 90 degrees exact. It is a 5/32 rad. Here is the NOS piece we have. Here is my reproduction piece. Both were measured with the same radius gauge. There is a small lip on the other side of this piece where the tube is placed. |

Here is another new part.
1 out of 5 pieces for the /6 engine tin. Laser cutting tomorrow so they should be up on the web in about a week. I will have a price at that point. Test fitted to our engine. |

Two other panels will go into the press next week probably. Then if they work out fine laser cutting another week. If adjustments need to be made then add 3 weeks at least.
Then 2 more panels need to be tried and those will take another month at least. Its hard to tell how long, too many variables. Pete |

Engine tin will you be selling pieces separately or only as a package?
I ask because I have the OE pulley tin, but the rest is homemade. |

I was holding off on this piece because getting the NAFTA paperwork for the parts to cross the border has been slow. But it seems that people are in need of this part.
This is an exact copy of the original piece. 7/16-20 thread, spot welded stud to the reinforcement plate. You can see I tested the weld until the correct heat was put into it to ensure the welds hold. These were several wacks with a 25 lb sledge. I have no price point yet either, so if you're interested in this piece either give me a call, or PM. Pete 519-836-3555 |

Will you be putting the wire retaining tabs on the engine tins?
I have some original pieces if you need any measurements. |

The front trunk springs are ready!
I tested them out on a car here at the shop and they keep the hood all the way up Pete http://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/PP336S $50 for a pair |

Rear latch panel is almost complete.
We just need to add to inventory and the website and then we can sell. If you need one quick send me a PM there is no additional brackets on the panel, therefore you will need to take off the tail light brackets and the latch bracket from your old panel. The area circled in red also needs to be cut out after the panel is welded into the car. they help keep the panel in shape to aid in the installation. $265 Pete |

Nice, but I see you chose not to include the hole for the tow mount?
Is the late panel (76-75) significantly different? |
