Not a new product, but the most correct springs you will get on the market.
The differences are on the hooks. https://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/PP336SA https://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/PP336S Pete |

Those have been available at Tangerine Racing Products for years. Sales has hardly justified investment in tooling for quantity production. But I guess that instantly makes my short stack of cut pieces, waiting to be formed, obsolete. My next sheet metal product was going to be the reinforcing pieces pictured by 914Werke. Those are bound to be a bigger seller than the front bumper mounts. I really thought Restoration Design would have made those before now. |

@ChrisFoley
Sorry, I didn't even know that you produced these pieces. I have been getting requests for these pieces lately. They will be a complimentary part that will be available with the front latch panel. front latch panel I have some of the reinforcements that Rich 914werke has been asking for. They are just not on the website yet. If you're interested in some give me a call. Pete |

Mine have been marketed more as a backdating piece than a repair panel. Good to know the other pieces are finally available, but I don't need any right now. One of my project cars will need them though. |

We are continuing our development for the 914 model. Here are a few parts that have recently been added to our website. These are made out of 16g sheet metal, which matches the original thickness.
https://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/PP318IL https://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/PP318IR For now people will have to reuse the top portion of this panel. Although we are working on finishing the top half. These are stamped with 18g sheet metal which matches the original thickness |

Saw it at Carlisle. Huge time saver compared to repairing the original. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

If so I need a set. Part #'s ? I don't see them listed on the RD site just yet. Thanks, |

Can you post a pic of where these are located on the early cars? I have a '75 that will get a bumper backdate and don't remember mention of these as part of what's required. |

@peteyd (sorry had the wrong name here before). I know mine is an extreme example but might this area forward of the front floor be a good candidate for a new replacement part from RD? It always seems this low point below/in front of the pedal cluster is a mess. I'm currently deploying some sheet metal-origami to slowly rebuild this disaster.
