So..to shape some foam you first must use adhesive to attach it to the fenders. Then use the above methods the achieve the shape you desire. Modern epoxies and clothes are more suitable for insulation type polystyrene. If you are making your own mudgards(flares) it's possible to design,fabricate a unique look for your 914. At some point in the work-up to the LeMan '70 someone cut a washtub in half at the factory and said "yeah,that'll work". Don't get me wrong.I like the look,they were the solution of the day for the fat wheeled Porsches,the 911 too. The colour is very close to my own selection.
