Funny thing is there was a Canadian member here with a twin turbo aluminum block Chevy with TEC3 management. He broke a Superflow dyno, twice, breaking it in. the 3rd time the dyno guy hit 1000hp, shut it down and told him to get it off his dyno..
I saw the engine, each turbo was the size of an Austin mini tire. BTW this guy was a known street racer back in the day. First time around the block he blipped the throttle and totally twisted the body and roll cage. The cage wasn't tied in good enough. Last I saw he had another car (bare roller) with an overkill cage. I know he had a bit of a sour taste in his mouth from the membership here, a pic of his highly modified car was posted and it was ruthlessly ridiculed. I was sworn to secrecy about his project. I see he has not been on this site since 2011...so Turbo Paul in this thread: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...mp;#entry449671 |
