PS -
I forgot to remind all y'all that you can enter the SDR Concours for judging, your engine modded 914 in Special Categories SC-3 - whether it's a transplant of a Porsche, Subie, Chev, Mopar, or lawnmower motor! Also, Friday Nite Aug. 4th is German Car Nite at Escondido's "Cruisin' Grand" - try to get there early & give yourselves time to park & cruise both the cars & the Pubs & Eateries there, but you can come-n-go anytime during the evening. No, it won't be the great food deal of this event! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) If you can, plan on taking the day or 1/2 day to beat the Friday traffic. It's a fun event, & my wife & I will be meeting up with a couple of my old HS buddies & their wives from San Diego (I was Uni HS `70 - they from Clairmont HS `69 & `72), maybe a few others. It would be cool to get a good 914 contingent there too, if you can get the time off, & there are local hotels/motels with reasonable rates - if it's a long drive for you, or in case you crawl too many Pubs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) I'll bump the topics I made on Cruisin Grand & make one for SDR Concours this evening, or update the older one. Cheers!
