Watching with interest since I'm about to wire up, too. I'd be interested in hearing about the tools you use, where you source the little bits, etc. |

I use the Tool Aid krimper https://www.amazon.com/Tool-Aid-18930-Ratch...k/dp/B000K1CFXO I have probably gone through 400 pieces in the last few years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Got to run some bigger wire for the front power module, gave me a chance to use my $40 special crimper from Amazon. That is a #2 wire.

Damn Mike what are you running 15 speaker 4 amp Bose stereo. 60amps seems like a lot. Looks damn good though. We fired up car got it running but the engine had a blown head gasket. Pulled it all apart and rebuilding thats life.

I have another 70amps that I am going to daisy chain off the end of that line. I already had this cable and I'm tired of spending money on the car so I figured I'd use it. I also have about 30 feet of 4/0 that is sitting in one of my storage units on the side of the house...that would have been overkill (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Removed the rest of the seam sealer in the rear trunk.
Threw a 3.5 emblem on the back... Cleaned injectors back to me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Trimmed more sheetmetal, got rid of the sharp edges.
![]() More wiring harness work, on table is stock engine harness. ![]() After dissecting the harness I have each component separated. ![]() Decided to do some PM and replace some gaskets, glad I took it apart. The water crossover tube from the water pump (front of motor) to the water manifold (rear of motor) has some rust so it'll be replaced. Luckily I can get a factory replacement for $20. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Infinitybox PDU's almost all done. Need to clean up the wiring. Tomorrow will be getting the engine harness back together.

Nice work, Mike! I'm right there with you on the wiring "fun". That said, it really is satisfying when it works as expected, isn't it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)
Are you targeting any sort of time frame to have the car running/driving? |
