This truly is stunning - not only the quality of the work, but how fast you work as well! I'm utterly impressed.

If the other guy cutting up a perfectly good racecar to make a 904 ends up with something half as decent, I'd be astonished.

That was my thought.

He apparently has a history of quality metal work and you can clearly see the 914 chassis under the new "904" sheet metal. I'm curious what bigkensteele is seeing that causes him concern?

So, he's from Norway, worked for a mining company, then worked offshore in the North Sea... sounds like a Viking Blacksmith! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

Go back to the first page. The first picture is of a rusted out 914, two days later is has suspension, tires, and a 911 roof welded on. That's a lot of work in 2 days. I don't think we are seeing this built in real time, at least not the beginning of the build.

I don't care one way or the other.

Fact is the builder has skills and it is an epic build. Carry on.....

One of the following posts stated that the first image was a few months before the roof/welded together chassis because he wanted to make sure he could save the car before posting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Can't wait to see a picture of the body outside from further away! The proportions looks really good.
